Catch-all Email Forwarding
MySite's email product offers two features to make your email domain more productive and fit your email usage: an email Catch-All account, and email forwarding.
Catch-All
An email catch-all allows you to redirect all unspecified email at your domain to a specific account. For example if you set up an account at sales@yourdomain.com and made that account the catch-all, then you could receive email for marketing@yourdomain.com, or support@yourdomain.com, or development@yourdomain.com or any other name by only setting up one account. The catch-all won't interfere with other accounts that you may have set up. This allows you to direct email to the individuals that you specify while keeping control of all other requests at your domain.
Forwarding
Email forwarding is a simple concept. Any email that is directed to a particular account at your MySite domain can be forwarded to an external email server. For example all email sent to bob@yourdomain.com can be automatically forwarded to bob@hotmail.com or any other domain that you choose.
